Auf Reisen brauchen wir alle eine Basis. Warum also nichts Außergewöhnliches?
Nichts nährt den Geist, den Körper und die Seele so sehr wie das Segeln.
Suchen sie für ihren Urlaub Ruhe und Erholung? Möchten sie frische Wald- und auch Seeluft einatmen, Ruhe spüren und entspannen? Fernab von den üblichen Touristenpfaden und doch jederzeit erreichbar? Intuitiv spüren wir, wie gut uns der Wald und das Meer tut? Suchen sie Ursprünglichkeit und unberührte Natur – vielleicht ein kleines Paradies, aber auch einen Ort für sportliche und auch touristische Aktivitäten? Oder suchen sie nach Möglichkeiten für neue Blickwinkel auf das, was uns umgibt? Vielleicht auch vom Meer aus mit seiner unendlichen Weite und Ruhe?
All das können sie bei uns finden und erfahren. Wir möchten sie einladen und teilhaben lassen an dem, was wir hier auf Can Vellana und mit unserer Segelyacht Padu erschaffen haben. Orte, wie ein Paradies. Orte, an denen womöglich auch sie finden, wovon sie träumen und wovon sie zehren können. Der Wald und das Meer haben eine ganz eigene Magie. Zu jeder Tageszeit, zu jeder Jahreszeit, bei jeder Witterung. Ob Abenteuerplatz oder Ruheort, der Wald und das Meer können beides sein.

Vom Cap de Creus durch das westliche Mittelmeer zu den Columbretes Inseln und über Ibiza und Mallorca zurück zum Cap de Creus.

- Can Vellana - ein Paradies im Nirgendwo
Can Vellana, ein 200 Jahre alter Olivenhof. Er liegt in Queixas fernab vom sommerlichen Küstentrubel mitten in der Natur und in absoluter Ruhe. Direkt am Fuß der Pyrenäen im Hinterland der Costa Brava westlich von Figueres und etwa 30 km von der Küste entfernt. Dennoch sind die schönen Felsbuchten auf der Halbinsel des Cap de Creus oder die breiten Sandstrände entlang der Bucht von Roses und L’Escala in nur einer halben Stunde erreichbar. Das nächste Dorf mit allen Versorgungsmöglichkeiten ist Besalu. Seine beindruckende romanische Brücke über die Fluvia und die Plaza im mittelalterlichen Dorfkern lassen einen Nachmittag schnell verstreichen.

„Wer die Natur liebt und eine Auszeit in völliger Ruhe haben möchte ist hier richtig. Das Haus liegt auf einer freien Ebene am im Wald. Wir hatten rundum eine top Zeit mit tollen Tipps von unseren warmherzigen netten Nachbarn und Vermietern. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet. Es gibt eine schöne Terasse. Der Blick in die Natur beim Frühstück ist unbeazhlbar. Wer yoga oder Ähnliches machen möchte kann ein riesiges mongolisches Zelt benutzen; das auf einer Terasse oberhalb des Hauses liegt. Für Kids gibt es ausserdem ein kleines Spielhaus aus Holz. Die schönsten Bademöglichkeiten sind in ca. 35 min zu erreichen. Wir können nur positives berichten und werden in jedem Fall wiederkommen. Mehr als wir erwartet haben! Sehr empfehlenswert!!!“

„Achim is a master storyteller - full of information about sailing (of course) but also about geology, local information/recommendations, and so many other things. So charming to meet such an interesting person. He makes sure you’re comfortably situated, provides plenty of drinks, and allows you to help with sailing. He brought us to a secluded cove to swim and we had the whole location to ourselves. Super fun and special experience. Definitely do this. (I only wish we would have had time to do the full day tour.)“

„If you want to get out on the water in Spain, Achim is the best person to take you. He is a true professional with many years of racing experience. He will explain things clearly so you really trust what he’s doing, and so you can sit back and enjoy the ride. My wife and I went with Achim and his wife after booking very last minute, and he was so accommodating. They were so friendly and fun to spend the day with. The 3 hour tour would be an excellent option if you don’t have a lot of time, but the full day tour is really an amazing experience. We got to snorkel, seeing fish and starfish. We were able to take lots of pictures, sit at the bow of the boat, and share a lot of great stories from their lives. They make you feel very welcome to make yourself at home and access any part of the boat (even riding the bow). This is an amazing experience with great value, and you will really be happy you did it.“

Achim was an excellent and generous host who has a wealth of knowledge about the local area as well as being great company. His geological expertise was an added bonus as was the delicious homemade birthday cake! Cameron's youthful enthusiasm for sailing and for Cataluñya is delightful and infectious! „We stood 3 nights on Achim’s boat and did a full day sailing trip with him. It was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed every minute of it. It’s such a great experience to stay on a sailing boat and the day trip was brilliant. We can’t recommend Achim’s boat enough! If you stay there you should definitely go on a sailing day trip with him as well. We stayed in August when it was really hot and hence slept on the deck for the three nights which was an unforgettable experience. Achim is really lovely and accommodating. He explained us so much about sailing and the area during the day trip. Empuriabarava and Roses are very touristy areas, especially in August but staying on a sailing boat is well worth it going there.“
